GPI’s Recycle Glass Week was the environmental sponsor for Race Across America’s 2010 cycling event, June 9th through June 21st. Recycle Glass Week sponsored five time stations during the ultra-endurance cycling event, where more than 4,000 people came out to show their support for local recycling programs in five cities, learned about the powerful environmental and energy saving benefits of recycling glass bottles and jars, and picked up some “green” giveaways provided by GPI’s Recycle Glass Week and glass manufacturing companies.

Race Across America is “greening” their 2010 endurance cycling event with the help of the Glass Packaging Institute’s Recycle Glass Week. GPI’s Recycle Glass Week is sponsoring five Race Across America time stations along the national course in the following locations: Oceanside, CA; Durango, CO; Bloomington, IN; Oxford, OH; and Annapolis, MD.
