UK Scientists Note “Compelling” Evidence Linking BPA to Breast Cancer Risk

“Reuters” reports a group of scientists from universities across the UK are urging the British Government to be “consistent with the approach taken by other governments who have ended the use of [bisphenol A] BPA in food contact products marketed at children.” The charity group Breast Cancer UK among other British campaigners and scientists say there is “compelling” evidence linking BPA to breast cancer risk. Breast Cancer UK recently issued a statement saying there was now “clear and compelling scientific evidence” from lab experiments that linked “even low-level exposure to increased risk of breast cancer and other chronic conditions.”
