Massachusetts May Adopt European-Style Regulations for Toxic Chemicals

The “Easthampton Valley Advocate” reports Massachusetts may adopt European-style regulations on products made with potentially dangerous chemicals such as the plastic chemical bisphenol A (BPA). Although not all of the research on BPA is conclusive, there is “certainly a large number of persuasive, scientifically solid studies that link toxic exposure to serious health problems: cancer, asthma, birth defects, reproductive and developmental problems, Parkinson’s disease.”
