Website Reveals Babies are Exposed to BPA from the Moment of Conception

“Environmental Science & Technology” reports a new website, the Endocrine Disruption Exchange (TEDX), a nonprofit group focused on the health problems caused by low-dose exposure to chemicals, has consolidated data from more than 110 peer-reviewed research articles to produce an interactive timeline on its new “Critical Windows of Development” web pages. The website reviews what animal studies tell us about how low doses of endocrine-disrupting chemicals can impair embryonic development, and stresses that babies can be exposed to endocrine-disrupting chemicals from the moment they are conceived.
