New Book on Breast Cancer Prevention Suggests Avoiding BPA and Phthalates

According to “US News & World Report,” a new book entitled “Taking care of Your ‘Girls’” educates young girls about how to prevent breast cancer based on research suggesting that women may be able to reduce their risk through lifestyle measures like diet and exercise, and possibly by avoiding certain environmental toxins, such as bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates, which are found in certain plastics and personal care products.
