European Food Safety Authority Angers Health Campaigners

The “Daily Mail” reports the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has angered campaigners by rejecting a raft of research highlighting health risks caused by bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical found in certain plastic containers. The EU rejected calls to ban baby bottles made with BPA, which is allegedly linked to breast cancer and fertility problems, because the dose of BPA consumed by a baby using a bottle is allegedly so low that it does not pose any health risk.
