Plastic Garbage on around St. Paul Island is Fatal for Seal Population

The “Washington Post” reports St. Paul Island, home to a large population of seals, has become an unintentional dumping ground for tons of debris, from plastic bottles and tires to netting and rope in which some seals become fatally entangled.
