Glass Industry Focuses on Advancing “Green” Practices

According to the “New York Times,” the glass manufacturing industry is looking at new ways to reduce the resources and energy used in making a wide range of everyday essentials. Glassmakers are reportedly searching for both small and large advances on three fronts: designing more efficient furnaces; creating much stronger glass; and using heat better.
