Ontario’s “Sarnia Observer” reports a breakthrough breast cancer study spearheaded by two researchers is revealing some disturbing trends. The first study is a four-year case control study involving 2,000 women from Essex-Kent County, which is nearing the end of its data collection phase. The second study is a two-year qualitative exposure study, which is at its halfway point. So far, the research reportedly suggests that women with backgrounds in both agriculture and health are at a higher risk for breast cancer. Over 200 identified breast carcinogens have been identified in everyday workplace and environmental products, including the plastic chemical bisphenol A (BPA).
