Health Canada to Ban Sale of Baby Bottles made of BPA

The “Vancouver Sun” reports Health Canada recently took its stand against the plastic food and beverage packaging chemical bisphenol A (BPA) to the next level, announcing it would ban the sale of baby bottles made from polycarbonate, the plastic that contains BPA. A new bill recently introduced in the British Columbia legislature by NDP MLA Gregor Robertson called the Right to Know Act will require a warning label on any consumer good sold in the province that exposes consumers to a toxic substance.
