BPA Controversy Escalates

According to “PBS NewsHour,” bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical commonly found in hard plastic bottles, has become so controversial that Nalgene will no longer make water bottles out of it. Health Canada and some U.S. senators want to ban or limit the use of the chemical and a draft report by the National Toxicology Program has acknowledged that there is some concern BPA may affect neural and behavioral development in fetuses, infants and children at current exposures.
