Debate over Plastic Chemical BPA Continues

According to “Reuters,” the debate over the plastic chemical bisphenol A (BPA) continues. The United States and Canada have both expressed concern over the potential harmfulness of the chemical and retailers are planning to stop selling items that contain BPA. Industry groups, however, continue to defend its safety, downplaying the results of several animal studies that have outlined the possible dangers of BPA.
