Plastic Trash is “Severely Affecting the Pacific’s Ecosystem”

According to “Parade” magazine, a giant field of plastic trash that is twice the size of the continental United States is currently floating in the Pacific Ocean. This “man-made mess” stretches from the west coast of the United States to Japan, and is reportedly “severely affecting the Pacific’s ecosystem.”
