Chemical in Nalgene Water Bottles Reportedly Linked to Infertility and Hormone Disruption

According to the Gotham Gazette, the Nalgene water bottles pulled from Mountain Equipment Co-op earlier this month are made of bisphenol A (BPA), “a type of plastic that has been linked with infertility, lower sperm counts, enlarged prostrate glands, pre-cancerous lesions in breast and prostate tissue, and other symptoms of hormone disruption.” Link to Full Article
