Plastics Chemicals May Be Causing “Unintentional Pollution in People”

The Statesman Journal reports we need federal government issued plastics awareness to alert us to the “everyday plastics and chemicals that may be contributing to our ill health.” According to the article, exposure to chemicals—such as bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates—found in items such as water bottles, baby bottles, shampoo, and nonstick pans, is causing unintentional pollution in people.
