Environmental Pollutants May Have Harmful Effects on Humans

The Muskogee Pheonix reports government research has revealed most people’s bodies contain heavy metals, chemicals from plastics, and a variety of other contaminants that may have long-term health effects. According to the CDC, children often have higher pollutants than adults, “especially in the case of many heavy metals, pesticides and a group of chemicals called ‘phthalates’ used to improve plastic.”
