Baby bottles found to leach BPA at rate above EU limit

According to the Taipei Times, three out of 19 baby bottles sampled by the Environmental Quality Protection Foundation leached traces of the chemical compound bisphenol A (BPA)—a chemical that reportedly mimics the human sex hormone estrogen and may cause diabetes, cancer, an miscarriages—at a rate above the limit set by the European Union.
