Restaurants Removing Bottled Water Service

According to ABC News, several restaurants are eliminating bottled water service from their menus and are serving only filtered tap water in an effort to reduce waste and help clean up the planet. According to the report, four out of five plastic water bottles end up in landfills, which is only a small portion of the problem, as the damage done by bottling, packaging and shipping the bottles reportedly creates pollution and greenhouse gases.
