According to the Statesman Journal, children may be vulnerable to common chemicals that negatively impact health. Some of the chemicals of concern are phthalates, which have reportedly been linked to health problems ranging from “reproductive development to cancer,” and bisphenol A (BPA), which is “used in some baby bottles and reusable water containers” and has been linked to “increased incidence of obesity and birth defects.”
