In an article titled “Bisphenol A for dinner – again?” the Ottowa Citizen reports on the many alleged ways children are exposed to the chemical, a reported sex hormone mimicking agent, including through heating canned infant formula in plastic baby bottles, serving meals in cans and through dental sealants. Bisphenol A (BPA) is reportedly a key ingredient in several household products, including some water bottles, baby bottles, sippy cups, and water jugs and has been denoted as “inherently toxic” by some scientists.
