According to NewsTarget.com, some giant food companies keep consumers in the dark about certain food and beverage health issues in order to sell the most products possible. From cancer-causing chemicals formed in food during high-heat processing to dangers of plastic packaging, food companies are allegedly concealing some of these health risks to increase their bottom lines. This article, titled, “The top ten things food companies don’t want you to know,” describes some possible health hazards that consumers may be exposed to, most of the time, without even knowing.
