One third of food packaging may cause allergic reactions

According to NewsTarget.com, people could face potentially fatal allergic reactions triggered by food packaging that contains latex. A study by Britain’s Food Standards Agency has found that one-third of packaging is contaminated with latex, which allegedly can be transferred to food, especially in ice cream and chocolate packaging, which uses “cold sealing” methods.
